The zero point is the intersection of the positions labeled zero on the horizontal and vertical rulers. The default zero point location is the upper-left corner of the printable area of a graph document.
Step 1
If the rulers aren’t displayed, turn them on by choosing Show Rulers (Cmd-R) from the View menu.
Step 2
Select the Arrow tool from the tool palette and drag diagonally from the corner box (the intersection of the rulers). As you drag, the dotted lines move—the intersection of these lines is the zero point position.
Step 3
When the zero point is positioned, release the mouse button.
• To reset the zero point to its default position, click the corner box.
